In my role at Guilford Technical Community College, I wore many hats. A majority of the work I did was creativity-focused and based on creating visually dynamic and engaging content and materials. I have created numerous flyers, posters, and mailers for GTCC using both Canva and Adobe InDesign. These collateral materials were disseminated to prospective, current, and former GTCC students, donors, and college faculty and staff.

As the Creative Content Specialist at GTCC, I was responsible for content creation for all of the college's social media platforms. Most notably, I focused on building the college's Instagram following and engagement. The content below are examples of graphics I created for the social feed. I also created a majority of the reels posted on the college's Instagram in my time there.

I joined the marketing team's social media committee in May 2023, and the engagement metrics on Instagram grew across the board. In my time at GTCC, the account gained over 2,000 followers and the reach has increased by over 93%. When I first joined the team, the posts would average 15-20 likes; after I joined, the posts averaged 140-160 likes.

GTCC utilized Mood Media, a platform that connects to the campus TV screens. At my time of employment with the college, there were 52 screens across 5 campuses. I created all of the designs, managed the scheduling, and ensured information was accurate and informative.
